Anyone ever successfully found a solution to fit a forward facing child seat in a Defender?
So, no rear seats to play with, must fit to passenger seat. Even if it means changing the seat.
i can't believe there isn't an ISOFIX aftermarket kit or similar?

Well if you have a seatbelt then you can fit most car seats... what exactly is the problem you have?

^wot he says...

I had a similar dilemma. I actually found that a cheapy £35 Halfords job was by far the best fit, it's actually very "low profile" if that makes sense, so it fits well into the actual Defender seat. Some of the much, much bulkier/more expensive seats did not seem nearly as good. The cheapo Halfords one conforms to exactly the same safety standards as the posh ones...it's just got not as much padding and the fabric is cheaper, not that my lad is at all bothered. Halfords did the original "fit" and were happy to tick it off too as safe.

I would be very wary if your 90 is a true "Ninety" (ie pre-Defender) as some of them had Series 3 seats where the backs don't lock back. Also, I assume no-one has retro fitted seats from an RX8 or similar...I'd be cautious there too.
