Still not convinced. The only advantage the TD4 has is the low end grunt, whereas the i6 needs some revs to get its power. So it would seem that the i6 is likely to be faster at more "real world" driving such as overtaking where you can have instant revs by selecting a lower gear (as the sport mode does quite well).

The only review I found which compares the performance is AutoCar which states that the i6 is "quicker and faster" than the TD4. Other than that I did find the following for TD4 but couldnt for i6:

* 30-70mph 11.3 sec
* 30-50mph in 3rd/4th 4.6 / 6.8
* 40-60mph in 4th/5th 6.3 / 9.8 sec
* 50-70mph in 5th 9.2 sec

Anyways, I didnt really start this post to get into any aggro, I was just welcoming myself to the forum.
