Freelander Td4
Discussion
My missus wants something smaller than our Disco II, which is due for replacement anyway, and the local independent has an '04 Freelander Td4 ES which I quite like the sound of.
Any thoughts, comments, etc? (More constructive than "That isn't a real LR" or "Stay away, they're cack". And will it tow a 1.6 tonne trailer? The dealer says "Yes" (well, he would, wouldn't he?) but my feeling is that it might struggle a little. (In which case I might buy the F/L anyway and get a Defender to tow the race car!)

Go for it !We have one of the last of the old Freelanders
and i must say its great ,not as big as you think.boot is
a bit small. But it took us with 2 kids on a couple of touring holidays to North Cornwall.Motorway cruising was
brilliant, plenty of power for a 4 cyl.Comfortable, well
made.Went on a Landrover Experience Day, you'd be suprised what it can do.There's even a club for them.I'll probably
get shot down in flames but its a great 4x4.If you get it
have fun !
