Does anyone on here have an established Wikipedia editing history?

My company’s entry is very out of date and I was going to update it myself, but it seems that whilst anyone in the world can do this (rightly or wrongly) it is frowned upon for me to do so (particularly as this would be my only ever post there!).

I also keep buggering up the Ref links for what I was posting, so just decided to give up! biggrin

Cheers in advance! I don't want to break there rules, but I also don't want it to not be accurate.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Conflict_o... says

"COI editors should not edit affected articles directly, but should propose changes on article talk pages instead."

So I would suggest you make any suggestions for corrections/updates on the talk page and hopefully if they are clear and straight forward an editor will pick them up fairly quickly.

Anyone editing on your behalf has the same COI you do, I would have thought.
