We used to have these before we registered with the FPS. I work from home too so we would get woke up at all hours, especially since we have to kep the fax machine next to the bedroom!

We did have some fun when they sent one through for themselves though. "Reading this? So are your customers" sort of thing. We now had the name of the company, who were a Ltd, and for a couple of quid were able to get the home address of the directors! A quick call to directory enquiries and we're speaking to a directors very annoyed wife, asking how they like being disturbed by the phone at 4 in the morning! OK probably illegal, but bldy funny though...

Regards,
Justin

Have recently noticed faxes coming from firms purporting to being able to remove your fax number from all lists........these companies however are usually based in Europe, and it costs £1.50 per min to fax back your reply, calls last 3 mins.........hello!

These you need to report to ICSTIS www.icstis.org.uk
who are the regulator for premium rate numbers. These faxes are just a scam.
