Looks like it's on Twitch later

NVidia Twitch

Interesting to see what they can bring to the table. I'm just hoping this brings down the price of older cards.

Given the 2000 series did nothing to bring down the price of used cards or the 1000 series I wouldn't hold my breath if I were you!

3090 is supposed to be a £/$1400 card 1080ti and 2080ti ain't going anywhere in price really I mean 1080ti prices are still stupid for a what 3.5 year old card

And to that the 12pin power requirement and it's sheer size not many will go for one

Lower tier hope less halo pricing but who knows

The Nvidia GeForce RTX 3070 will be faster than the 2080 Ti, but coming in at just $499

Wow, if thats true there will be some very sore 2080ti owners.

Been waiting some time to replace my now very long in the tooth, but dependable, 9 Series Titan X, think I'll pick up a 3080 just as soon as EK bring out a waterblock, unless AMD really pull something out of the bag.

Unless you have a £5000 4k large monitor with a 144hz refresh rate and you want to vsync it at ultra settings I think it will probably take 2 years before mainstream games catch up and even get close to using the power of a 3080 or 3090 (+ 8k gaming at 60fps/60hz). By which time RTX 40xx will be launching.

38" 3840x1600, 144hz, with a 5 year old card. So it's really great timing for an upgrade for me, especially with Cyberpunk right around the corner.

I didn't really like his McMansion decor.

Sounds they're a big improvement due to the new architecture, the 3070 seems a little stingy with the memory though.

I'll see what happens with the prices on these products when they're in GBP, probably something horrific I'd imagine.

Actually not as wallet raping as everyone was expecting. It seems the 3080 is the new top and the 3090 in now what previously was the Titan, but years ago nobody but super nerds bought the titan and the xx80ti was always the top card realistically. Now the titan is the xx90 which i imagine is to entice more people to see it as an extension of the line up as a halo product. There is a blatant gap in their for the 3080ti which is going to land at £/$999 which will release right around when AMD is promoting their cards.

We arent even being shafted as bad with the dollar/gbp direct swap that we normally see. once you factor in VAT etc its actually better on our side of the pond.

Competitively priced. RTX3080 is a no brainer.

It's 11.2 inches.

I'm going to pre-order the 3080, and buy a Dremel in the meantime...

Timing couldn't be better - my i7 4771/GTX1070 rig is up for replacement before the end of the year, so the 3070 or 3080 will be a nice upgrade.

Probably but still running 1440p/60 so not sure I need to bother. Bought it in prep for vr/index but still no sales of that here and I've not found a monitor I want to replace the u2711 that I can sensibly afford.
