TFT TV Monitors

Hi All,

My brothers 15" TFT has given up the ghost. As he's at uni he'd like to get another TFT but with a TV Tuner built in.

He'd like a minimum of 17". I've had a quick hunt around and it looks like he'd be better off buying a TFT and a seperate TV card. Any recommendations. Main consideration is price - cheaper the better.

I have a 15" LG monitor which I rate highly (like me he doesn't play games, just normal word/email and playing music)


Any suggestions or should I just go hunting for the cheapest LG I can find?

Just remember that if you have a monitor and a pc with a tv card, you'll have to start the pc just to watch tv which would do my head in pretty quickly.

Take a look at www.scan.co.uk as they have quite a few "specials" every so often.
