There are various tuning people offering varying prices for various options on tuning the 320 diesel.

I've bad expierance with the cheapo boxes that plug in line with the common rail pressure sensor and fudge the signal to make the ECU up the signal on a previous non Mercedes car so I'll avoid them.

But of the proper remaps, like DMS, Brabus or others, anyone got any experiences?

I have the Brabus kit, can't really notice that much difference as the torque was pretty savage anyway. MPG went up 1 or 2.

It is pricey but maintains the Mercedes warranty.

But it has to be done........272bhp and 590Nm

Had the kit fitted yesterday so impressions are still fairly limited. Midrange is definately stronger to the extent the missus even commented on it as a passenger, before I told her it had been fitted!smile

Appears to be an improvement on MPG around town. I get the impression the gearbox is up the gears quicker at a specific speed due to the increase in torque.
