With respect to all, surely MB have never built a better looking car than Tigerkoi's CL55. Just gorgeous.

Well, for the ultimate "Show me your Mercedes" thread this would take some beating?

Don't worry it starts a little 'slow' but just gets better and better...and WARNING: You could lose hours if not days of your life ogling here:

My recently aquired 89 500SL. Not my favourite colour but can't be too picky when you buy on mileage and condition

Very nice, I`ve often mused about owning one, I was fortunate enough to buy an E30 M3 new in 1989 then a couple of years later a Rouse Cosworth Saphire . A Mercedes Cosworth would be a worthwhile comparison .

Nice car Joncon... Mine I prefer the black to the smoked silver, but what can you do? She doesn't look like much but the whole back end has just been rebuilt; if you have a 190 be careful when you ask a bodyshop to 'cut all the rust out' as there tends to be a LOT of it! smile Ah well....

I once went on a hair raising drive in TR3, I was a passenger situated in the rear space behind the seats, no seat belts of course, must have been in the early seventies , possibly late sixties...It was down a road called Purley Way, parallel to what once was Croydon Airport, with a tail wind trying to reach 100 mph.

Surprised no one's put one of these up yet:

1969 280SL Auto. A bit loud, a bit slow, but every drive's an event.
You can say that again! Thankfully no longer...
