Why should they have all the fun

Their convoy is starting down south (about 60miles from Newcastle?) so there's not much point us northeners going down to come back up (well not for me anyway) so does anyone fancy a convoy forming in Newcaslte/Gateshead somewhere?

The way I personally would envisage going would be to head out to Riding Mill and go down the A68...But if people want to head down the A1...

All depends on the route you'd take I guess regarding meeting place, if you're going down the A68 then it'd best to meet up in Metro Centre Overflow car park but if you're heading down the A1 maybe Team Valley?

I feel I should warn you about my car mind, it's diesel, it's pretty slow and I try very hard not to break any speed limits (regardless of cameras...). The reason is I value my licence and can't afford any points! Ooo, didn't I sell the convoy idea well

I can't read my bloody email so if you replied to my mail then sorry! otherwise - I'm going down on my way back from bonny scotland so yes, riding mill is fine to meet (I used to live in stocksfield so I know the best roads!) what about the wellington pub carpark at about 11am?

sounds good to me I'll ring you later tonight anyway, I'm at work at the moment you see.

I won't bother describing the car to you - I'll be able to spot yours easier

I'll be leaving from South Shields so anywhere local is good for me...

Uriel, do you know the Duke of Wellington in Riding Mill?

Anyway, I'll describe it!
