Whats the deal with the Competizione's
Seen cars that are 2015 and are 160PS, some are 180PS is there a way to tell other than putting the reg in Parkers?
Wondering if I settle for another colour than red as red seems to be a premium.
Halfway through 2015 the series 3 Competizione swapped to the Garret turbo and 180bhp. A year later the series 4 was released.Seen cars that are 2015 and are 160PS, some are 180PS is there a way to tell other than putting the reg in Parkers?

I did find that even the dealers didn't know what exactly were added to various Abarths.
I have a 2024 695 Comp which mysteriously doesn't have the steel pedals. I've contacted Abarth and they tell me that they were discontinued from MY22.
Odd thing to delete on what is supposed to be the sportiest model.
To be honest it seems to be the same as the 2024 Turismo 695. Both have yellow big Brembos, 180bhp engine with the Garrett Turbo.
Just the seats are different.
Is there anywhere that I can input my VIN and see exactly what I have. Maybe a mechanical LSD perhaps
Excuse me quoting myself but I have a Turismo 695 courtesy car today and can confirm that it has the same brakes, slightly different 17in wheels, different leather seats that aren't as sporty but are far more adjustable. Headlights look different but the same 180bhp engine with the Garrett turbo.I have a 2024 695 Comp which mysteriously doesn't have the steel pedals. Apart from mine saying Competizione on the back, I'm wondering if I should have got the slightly cheaper Turismo
Been looking at more and more 595 Comp, think I am looking to spend around 7k and ideally want a 180 which means looking at the late S3 cars most of which are either highly modified or Cat N for that money.
Think that red Cat N I posted the other day has gone.
As I have never run a "standard" car before, has anybody on here mapped a 180 engine? how does it compare to standard?

I did respond in the other thread you commented on - I’m down the M1 from you in Stanmore. No problem if you wanted to come down and go out in it. It is an early s4 though. Think that red Cat N I posted the other day has gone.

Currently running 218hp.
They respond very well and the standard engines are often above 180 from the factory.

Ah sorry yeh I did see that, might give you a shout in a week or so. Currently running 218hp.

Had a lad message me with a S4 car for sale but its been a Cat-S , looks gorgeous in blue with the black sabelt seats just not sure how I feel about a Cat-S/
Insurance are hopefully paying me out next week which also means my hire car will be going next week as well so need to sort another car out, I'm wanting to spend max £7k really which means I'm struggling to find a 180 comp, I have found a few any thoughts on any of these?
Car 1 - 2015 Comp 180 , series 3, 49,000 miles , £7000 - CAT N, "unknown damage"
https://www.martynscarsales.co.uk/used-cars/abarth...
Car 2 - 2016 Comp 180, series 3, 82,000 miles, £5800 - not written off but could need a few things for next MOT which is due June

Car 3 - 2015 Comp 180, Series 3 , 81,000 miles, £6300 - CAT N again , its had a new wing, door and track rod end - also has the red/black seats which I'm not super keen on.

Car 2 is cheaper and isn't a Cat N car, the owner has bought a few parts to be fitted before next MOT but just something saying to me... is there something wrong with it hence why its still around at £5800. None of the cars above are local so cant even pop to see any of them.
Ideally I wanted red, but dont mind the grey either to be honest. I have looked at some other cars but quite a few of them are heavily modified and want to avoid that.

Found a car 4 now, decided maybe to look at slightly more expensive ones and finance the difference.
This is more local to me, within 30 miles

£7795 Abarth 595 Comp 180, 62,000 and isnt a write off.

Have just enquired with this company, there are a few private sale 595 Comp's around the same price with less miles so asked them if there is any movement on the price. its not local to me at all, but with my railway pass would cost me about £25 to get there and 3 hours of my time.
It doesn't have the "Competzione" parcel shelf just a standard one.

'Parcel shelf' is stretching it a bit!
I have no need for that as I've removed the rear seats to give me a substantial load space.
And save 20kg.....
I've run a few of my hot hatches without rear seats instead with a brace and net. I have no need for that as I've removed the rear seats to give me a substantial load space.

Anybody know what exhaust is on that red car? its says Monza but its only dual exit.
