Curious, was it a bolt in cage or did you have to cut it out?
It was a full bolt in cage, so I simply unbolted it, removed it and made blanking plates to fit over the mounting points.

Please let me present you this delightful piece of 1967 AR history.

Dino van Lingen's rare 1967 Alfa Romeo 1600 Sprint GTV.

Perfect 1967 Alfa Romeo 1600 Sprint GTV goes like the clappers.

Dino van Lingen is the son of Fred. Fred and Sam are pretty much the founding fathers of the AR scene in the Netherlands. Sam (RIP) was the commercial genious and Fred still is tinkering in a 70s vibe shed he shares with AR genious Rik Zuurbier.

They look so much better to me with those skinny early bumpers fitted. Most won't agree, but I think they look goofy without any bumpers at all.

Spider almost ready to come out to play. Lots of salt on the roads here in South Wales so not quite yet.

Bought this about five weeks ago to replace a red Veloce I had from new for three years.

Washed for the first time yesterday.
