I have an Aztec electric boiler in a BTL flat, it has completely packed up.
No plumbers seem interested in it as its electric, the manufacturers can only recommend someone 50miles away :S.

So does anyone know a plumber in Gosport/ Fareham who would be able to fix this biggrin

At work we've used a few of these in BTLs. True that plumbers are not interested but your sparks should be able to apply some basic fault finding to it. I mean, it's only a heating element in a pot isn't it?

The tech support people at Aztec were very helpful. Essentially they told us...... (our sparks)...
Assuming that the boiler does have power to it. - Do a basic continuity test on the element and the stat and if OK to remove the PCB and thermister and send to them for a substitution test with their test boiler.

When I Worked for my previous employer, we installed quite a few electric boilers, not Aztec, but Heatrae Sadia ones. They're Liphook based which is up the A3.
They might be interested if you wanted a new one.

Just diagnosing it could be done by a sparkie though. Similar to an immersion element.
