Seems to already be a massive steel at the corner.
If you are bothered, inquire with your local building control officer.

The metal sticking out is not that much or look that sturdy (looks like off cuts) and just shoved in… they are resting on ceiling props that are in turn just on the concrete in the back yard.

Yes the metal is bending… I wonder how long it will last.

Acro props with needles - perfectly normal, possibly a bit far spaced? They might have got away without them at all (mad to try) - they only need to stop the brickwork dropping - and consequential catastrophic ensuing collapse - the interlocking brick work will be more or less self supporting. I can't see clearly, but looks like horizontal steel is already in too.

Phone BC if you are worried.

Agree with this.
Looks precarious but all standard practice.

No horizontal stew in yetl that is just the brickwork you see, they put the props in after knocking the whole corner out and putting in the big upright in the corner.
