Hi guys I'm on the market for a c63 and wondering if I buy one without the pp and get it remapped what figures would I likely get? Or would I be better getting one with pp and remapping that. It will be a 2012/2013. Thanks guys

Preemptive username and no research done. Google is your friend.

^^ Exactly.

I've written enough on here about the benefits of Eurocharging a non-PP car, LSD vs Non-LSD etc...

I have done some research but the reason I came in here was to get some peoples experiences and some more info ain't that why we have forums lol but thanks for the smug answers guys ^^^^

Why not use the search function on here then? Or maybe look bacl a dozen or so pages to view the threads people spent time constructing.

Welcome to the happy forum!!!!!
Either car will give similar results when remapped
Older pp cars had lsd I think but no doubt stand to be correctedrolleyes
All depends what you want out of it and what you are used to
The noise is great, the fuel economy isn't
There are now plenty of places to get a remap done, I have only used dms and was happy,-acid , euro charged, rebellion and Mrc all have followers on here who also seem to be happy so feel free to use the search button and read up on the free and sometimes healthy topics.
My first AMG was a stop gap c43 which was truly forgettable, my first c63 was an estate with pp and lsd.
Second c63 was a saloon without lsd, on normal road driving I personally couldn't tell the difference. I had them both remapped and the saloon had secondary decats with x pipe from CKS ( truly appalling bit of pipe work but made the right noises)
The saloon seemed to drive a bit tighter than the estate, but I had an e class between so that could have been it
Do some research, go on plenty of test drives from dealers who seem to have a few around now (and no doubt will have a few more soon when the replacement comes along)
I don't think there will be a car like it again
Oh you should be looking at 510-530 depending on who you believe but in real world driving they should all be roughly the same....just depends how high you want to pxss in the pxssing contest as with any remap discussion

Nice one Eddie (that last link is mine)

To the OP - Eddie found these in short order time. We're not being smug; you're being lazy.

What's being lazy by asking a forum a few questions that most guys will know. It was to get to speak to someone personally who may have done this and can help me by talking. I could sit and go through all the topics that's no problem but I like to interact with people and get some of their experiences and so on. But it looks as if that's not the case here does it

I've looked at the topics above and thanks for that. I will have to go through every other topic now before I post anything else in case it's already been posted lol

Got a standard C63 (2013) model - had it mapped by DMS - fantastic after sales with regards to returning to remove / replace map if need be.

^^ thanks bud hope your having fun and the sound is something else as well. I've seen a few good topics of who to go to for the map. I was going to use the guys who done my 535d bmw but changed my mind now will go with the tried and tested

Eurocharged are pretty much the market leaders for the C63 and you certainly will not be disappointed by the difference it would make on a standard (457bhp) C63

Id personally go PP+
As sometimes the premium is very small especially if it's not the first owner who didn't spec it from new. Resale too will be better as many won't touch a mapped c63.

I just like the idea of factory performance upgrades. Plus doesn't it have the forged SLS internals ? (Ready for charger!)

I couldn't find a recent PP car with a diff on 18's for a sensible price, so purchased a non-pp car on 18in's in dark blue and had a quaife diff fitted and eurocharged map. the car is now producing 500hp, does massive skids on demand and much improved. honestly I couldn't be happier. for £38k a july '13 estate with following mods is a bloody bargain.

Just slap the charger on a non PP car.....like I did
8000 miles done with the charger fitted and running 720bhp, certainly increases the grin factor

At the last vmax200 I hit 190 ( at which point the under tray came off along with the inner wing......sounds worse than it was)

It will definitely do over 200mph but it's more how quickly it gets there than what the actual top speed is.

The 911 was supposedly running NOS and 650bhp
