Appointment Setters
Discussion
Launching a new product alongside our bread and butter high value items which we sell approx 15 of per month at £16k - £25k.
Lower value of circa £3k, it's a good quality American brand and competitors are selling perhaps 50 per month with a small team.
Website is in progress, Social Media is up and running but I want to start one of our sales guys who is based inside the M25 off with pre-set appointments to see how he goes.
Is anyone here involved in appointment setting, calling the customers on our behalf and setting appointments to go in for a demo? Or can anyone recommend a company they have used? There's lots of options out there so recommendations always carry more weight with me.
Thanks

If they're still going, hunt down a company called The Telephone Marketing Company.
I've not had any dealings with them for many years but when I did, they were very good. They employed 'resting actors' to do the calls.
They were also quite expensive but having tried others that were cheaper or 'pay on results', we quickly deduced that this is very much something that you get what you pay for.
You also need to do the hard-yards on getting the call list together. Unless you're selling something that has generic appeal, you need to tell them who to call and not let them make this choice for you.
Oh... and also the person they need to speak to. I worked at a printers in the 90s that uses such a service and had quite a few appointments where I'm pitching quality litho printing services to a confused Office Equipment Manager or some such. I finally worked out that the tele-sales companies were asking to speak to the person in charge of printers for the company!
