COOL CLASSIC CAR SPOTTERS POST!!!
Discussion
Having been stripped to the metal and had lots of rust replaced with steel over the past year then the body is currently top notch.
Need to get it on a rolling road though to sort the carbs and cam timing settings. It's running too rich and there is a hole in the power at 5000revs which is a pity as that's when it sounds really good.

had a look round a very nice and very original Triumph 2500 MK2 at Huntingdon garden and leisure centre this afternoon,
Isn't it amazing how low and sleek that Triumph (which was a large car in its day) looks compared to the Peugeot (a bog standard hatch) next to it. JulesV said:

had a look round a stunning White Healey 3000 MK3 at the A1 southbound services earlier today, looked to be in great condition,
i do love a big Healey it must be said!
this was parked in the same area, just over the road. a bit rough and ready but still worthy of a mention IMO,
(BTW Dink, i will have a go at resizing sometime mate!)

saw 2 particularly nice classics out today on my travels,
came out of the little chef opposite the A1 Black Cat roundabout at Wyboston earlier today to find this beautiful Volvo P1800 parked next to us,
what great looking cars these are up close, lovely flowing lines except this one's boot was propped open with what appeared to be parts from another old classic.
then just up the road at the Roxton Garden centre i found this lovely old Lancia Fulvia 2C outside,
it was in truly excellent condition, the body/paint work was flawless and it appeared to be a well used example too having covered a trip down to the annual Lancia gathering in Milan recently and some driving tours in Portugal!

saw a nice MK2 Midget yesterday afternoon near the Brampton hut that appeared to be in the process of a rolling restoration (paintwork was stripped down on the bonnet and wings)
