That when/if the Conservatives gain power he will switch allegiance.

To me, he always seems to be on the wrong 'side'.

I don't think (hope) that the Conservatives would touch him with a 20ft bargepole, useless money grabbing, expenses fiddling, mortgage swindling twazzak..

It will never happen. He will sulk off and continue to be in the Lords. Any party who would take him would be mad.

He's been sliming his greasy way around the top of the Labour party for a very long time. He was cheek by jowl with the Welsh windbag Kinnochio 20 years ago. Also he was born into the Labour party, his grandfather was Herbert Morrison. He won't cross to the tories but I can see him filling his boots with directorships.

Nah - Blair gets top EU job and Mandy goes with him as the puppetmaster.

Far more money, power and influence to be had away from the wes of this little backwater.

In the sentance above it should be 'shores' however, my typo is probably more to the point.

Having Winky trying to get him into the Commons is just another in the longest list of shameful events.

If he wants to be allowed in, he should stand for Parliament and get elected.

So...even with a majority of MPs, ZNL do not have any MP of ability (and by that I mean unwavering Stasi loyalty to Winky-boy) to be the "First Secretary of State, Secretary of State for Business, Innovation and Skills, President of the Board of Trade and Lord President of the Council" or...

the Attorney General (Scotland) or...

the Minister of State for Strategic Defence Acquisition Reform (Drayson) or...

the Minister of State for Europe (G Kinnock) or...

For me I just think of him as Chancellor Palpatine. Nuff said.
