I've been doing some work on the site and have also sorted some new suppliers. I was just hoping to get some feedback. There are a lot more products to go on there now, also I can use carphone warehouse banners as an approved affiliate. The Otterbox case prices will hopefully come down, but due to having to buy them individually at the moment, postage is very high.

I'm just going to keep working at it until i'm happy to start marketing it. I have also applied for my Uni's entrepreneur scheme which will be very helpful if I'm accepted.

I've started to think about when i'll need funding but just trying to get it to a state where it can make money first. There will be a good range of cases going on soon but there is still a lot to be done.

Thanks, Richard

My feedback? For what it is worth?

Your homepage should have information about you and your products, who you are, what you offer, why they should buy off you etc.

On the bit that does have stuff about you (contact us) I would get rid of the bit about your dreams of opening a shop. Shops are £75 a week and if you cannot afford that then you are not getting my money down the internets. Tell the punters you soley online to keep the price that they pay down.

The site looks remarkably clear and easy to use with very little fussyness. I like it.

A tip I learnt from a chap at work was to create an extra page and fill it with words, in white writing, for the Google bot to pick up. No idea how this is done but he seems to get things up the rankings quite quickly.

OP: are you the guy I bought my iphone case from?

If you are, I much preferred the site the way it was. Looks much more amateur now. Not sure I'd spend money on a site which looked the way it does now.

Seems simple enough.

I cannot from this tell the diffrence between your offering at £14.99 and the £2 silicon ones you get on Ebay, and I should be able to?

Do you do the BB Bold?

As per earlier, regardless of the site layout, the products are significantly more expensive that ebay or the crappy little stalls selling them in shopping centres.

If yours is a premium product, I'd want to know why before spending £20 on a phone cover.

Misery guts feedback incoming...

All I did was go to the Contact Us page and I was put off by the numerous spelling and grammatical mistakes. I also can't see the legally required company (or sole trader) information. Put together, that doesn't give me that warm, fuzzy, this is a legitimate site feeling.

Some design thoughts... I think you need a bit more going on in the menu bar to the left, there's not enough demarkation between the Title bits and options. Maybe some graphic bars for the 'Departments' and 'Information'. The home link should probably be at the top of the bar. Maybe you could lower the whole menu, so the left menu begins under the Shufflenation banner, and then stretch that banner out to fill the whole top of the page with something a bit more graphics based... you know, the blurry shot of some grass and sky with your name and product layered over it. Try to fill in that big space in the subscribe bar, people have made good points about you lacking any information why these are worth the cash.

Could you put the Carfone Warehouse on other pages aswell? Gives it a more professional look I think.

Hmmm not great feedback so I know there's still lots to do. Thanks everyone for the comments. I'm quite limited on what I can do on using the free shop template but i'll do what I can, basically the Otterbox cases are quite well known and i'm simply trying to extend my range, I'm still going to have the lower priced cases on as they are very good for the price, these are just to add variety.

I also have some others to go on, which are fairly high priced, the reason they are this expensive is because i'm having to buy in small quantities, once the site is how I want it, hopefully the more sales will mean I can actually holdstock instead of waiting for orders.

Design wise I did think this was better than previous but now i'm not so sure so will consider the previous. I will be changing the contact us page and adding more information hopefully with better grammar.

I can also add a youtube video which describes and demonstrates the Otterbox qualities, basically though, some of them have 3 layers and give excellent protection which is why theyre so expensive.

With regards to the carphone warehouse banners, they will be added to other pages, however at the moment I cant add them to the homepage.

Thanks again for the feedback, it really does open your eyes as to what other people want to see.
