Cheap Desktop - base unit only
Discussion
I need to get hold of a PC that's only function will be to sit online and perform certain robot tasks via wireless but the £199 mini Acer is now out of stock at John Lewis and the other big names all seem to start at £300
I only need to have wireless and a reasonably memory, hard disk is not important, but needs min 1 yr warranty, any suggestions?

John Lewis must be one of the most expensive places in the country to buy PCs from.
But they're one of the most cost-effective places in the country to buy Macs from... two year warranty for the same price as Apple, no quibbling and you can return / exchange to your heart's delight...FWIW if you want really cheap, don't need power, then why buy new? Pick up some second hand PC for sod-all, even a 5 year old box is going to be powerful enough to run many tasks unless you're decoding video.
