I need to upgrade my main pc, did consider building my own, but I don't fancy my chances if I end up having to troubleshoot any problems once it's built.

I looked around on ebay and various other places as saw this spec for £414.

Anybody out there who can tell me whether that is a good set up for the money? No keyboard, monitor or mouse included.

Its not bad, but don't be fooled by the 9.2GHz bit, it doesn't work like that, really annoys me when people on ebay and places do that because its simply false advertising to trap unaware people.

Why its got Windows XP I don't know, I mean, Microsoft have stopped supporting this now. You really want to get Windows 7.

It all depends on what you want the PC for. If you want it for Gaming, then think again, the graphics card won't be able to handle new games at high settings.

If you just want it for general use, then yes, it'll do nicely. However, be aware that if its from ebay, technical support may not be there, so as you said you didn't want to build one yourself due to tech support, then you may want to look at some PCs from proper companies who'll offer a warranty.

Only DDR2 ram, ok it's got 2TB HDD but that can easily be matched.
