Your top 5 for 2018
Discussion
Hi All - Happy New Year... it's showing off time again!
Reading back on what Rob said in last year's thread I could repeat almost verbatim as regards my 2018 photography - 'lost a personal thread somewhere. Not felt too compelled to get out and shoot, lacking inspiration, but really enjoyed the times I managed to. Choosing a top 5 shouldnt be hard from such a limited list!'
My 5 are below - what have you got?
(previous "Your Top 5 From..." threads: 2017, 2016, 2015, 2014, 2013, 2012, 2011, 2010)
In chronological order...
1. Got a few Kingfishers last year but was chuffed to get one with a fish
Kingfisher by Mike Smith, on Flickr
2. Had a trip to the Trossachs with Mrs DD for our anniversary - lucky with the weather!
Loch Voil by Mike Smith, on Flickr
3. Torridon (aka heaven)
The Liathach and Beinn Alligin (Explored) by Mike Smith, on Flickr
4. Dragonfly - spent a lot of time looking for one of these! Liked the way this fitted into the focus plane wingtip to wingtip
Common Darter (1) by Mike Smith, on Flickr
5. Well there had to be a bride in there somewhere! My favorite bit of this is the tiny reflection of the moon you can just make out
Two Bridges by Mike Smith, on Flickr
