Hi Guys. I have a twin cab Ford Ranger. I replaced the CVJ left hand side as it spat the dummy, bearing cage broken and fell apart. New one went well until I stressed it trying to pull a tractor ripper off by driving backwards and hitting the chain pulling it at jarring halt. Now it makes a bumping noise when I hit a pothole in road. The car still works all wheels in Four wheel drive low range so it isn't broken as before. Before I pull it apart, just asking if anyone has come across this before. It doesn't go clunk, clunk, clunk on full lock like a worn CVJ, just bumping sound when I hit a bump, sounds a bit like a shocky worn. Any thoughts? John
