WD 40 the True Story
Discussion
Am I alone in thinking that WD40 is the most mis-used product ever produced ?
From my observation over the years, many of which were spent as a hands-on engineer, I have seen it primarily used as a release agent (penetrating oil). In this function it is singularly poor and yet they manage to sell zillions of gallons of the stuff.
I know it's useful for other things but I think many people only buy it for use as a release agent.
Plus Gas is probably one of the best I've used - not sure if it's still around.
