Factory Red Rose spec - driveability downsides?

Hi! I asked this question in the Tuscan section, but perhaps it fits better here.
I've owned and restored a Griff 500 here in Sweden for a few years now, I've decided it's time to switch to a Tuscan and I'm planning to import a car from the UK. Perhaps I need to hurry, don't know what will happen after the final Brexit date that is said to be in March 2019.
My question is actually if you think there are any driveability downsides in a factory Red Rose car. I know that the Red Rose option included 20 more hp among with some chassis upgrades. The extra hp was gained by higher compression, adjusted cam timing and perhaps something more, correct? How does this affect driveability at lower speeds I wonder; rough low rev behaviour, shunting etc?
