Considering a Flying Spur - can anyone let me know when the major revisions were? I'd like something that has the most up to date tech for when we go on road trips etc... it'll be a daily driver.

I know there was a big refresh in 2011, then the GT got a refresh in 2016, but I don't know if anything significant happened to the Flying Spur at the same time.

Budget is probably up to 130k.... but if I can send 70k and get effectively the same car, in good condition, that'd make more sense.

I prefer the V8 S.... but W12 Speed looks mega as well.

Do many people daily drive these?

This looks awesome for example: https://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/...

But is it much different to a 2013 one for 80k?

I'm essentially looking for something that could be a great daily driver, for road trips and standard commuting / running around in, that my son would like being in, could fit into etc, so it'd be practical, whilst also being sporty and fast enough for me to enjoy taking out as well, and a bit of an occasion!

I was looking at a Tesla P100D, but at £130k, and 50% depreciation over 4 years... I could buy a Bentley for that, and it's miles nicer inside. I've also been considering Panamera's, but I've had 3 Porsches before, Ferrari's, but only the FF suits, and is not as nice inside, Mercs, BM's etc... but they're all a bit "standard" (an M5 at 90k looks like a 530i), and I remember losing more money on an ML63 I had than I lose on an F430, and a Gallardo, so... I think why spend mega money on mainstream brands, when you can get something truly impressive that costs you less over the period of ownership.

Hence looking at Flying Spur's.

If you're after a fun daily driver, that's fun enough on country roads, epic on road trips, and a great, lovely place to be whilst commuting.... what's the best Bentley to look at?

Anything else worth looking at?

Muslanne is nice but a bit too big I've decided. V8S Mulliner Flying Spur looks perfect size wise, speed wise, mpg is a bit better and not much slower than W12....
