Trainers for Tough Mudder

Hello!
I have had a search but couldn't find anything relevant.
I am doing tough mudder in a few weeks for the first time which I am really excited about!
I am a regular gym goer (strength) and have pretty good cardio through cycling.
I own a pair of Nike Free Runs 5.0 which are very comfortable however, I fear they will be like ice skates in the mud on the course!!!
Could you tell me what you ran tough mudder in and if you have any recommendations. I feel I will use the shoes again for further events so I am prepared to spend a considerable amount rather than cheap and chuckable!
I have look at the Adidas Terrex Agravic Speeds which look like a great trail/road shoe but these are quite narrow.
