A shocking end to preceedings at yesterdays Flame and Thunder show at the Pod when Fireforce 1 was engulfed in flames shortly after leaving the line. Thankfully Tony Baker was unhurt, but it certainly looked a bad one.
The car didn't seem right as it left the line and after a few yards the chutes were out and then the car fireballed, finally stopping in the opposite lane at about half track. As always the safety crew were straight on it. Not much left of the car through.
