4x4s with large modding communities
Discussion
Hey folks.
Just wondering what 4x4s there are which have big modding communities in the UK as I love modified cars. All I can think of for 4x4s however are:
Green oval brigade - lots out there for Defenders and Discos
Suzuki - Jimny, older SJ and to a lesser extent vitaras.
Jeep - mainly the wrangler

Hehe I suspected pretty much what you said, although I disagree, Jeep modding is big enough in the UK & there is a wealth of parts which can be cheaply imported.
I was more thinking about what 4x4s have good general parts availability for offroad mods, I know when I used to be into Mitsubishi's (First an L200 then a Shogun) actually researching mods and bits for them was a pain in the ass, most people who where into them had to fabricate a lot themselves or pay oodles to have stuff shipped from SE Asia. I've recently transitioned into a 'zuk (Jimny), again for the reasons you mentioned, cheap and simple with a lot of aftermarket parts availability within its community.
