Speaking of Remakes. Here's a suggestion!
Discussion
I searched nearly 6 pages worth of threads and couldnt find the discussion on movies that should be remade today. I could have sworn there was one going on.
Anyway, I got to catching an oldie from the 90's tonight, still watching it right now as a matter of fact and it got me thinking it would be an excellent movie to remake. It is from the year 1990 to be exact.
Remember this one, FLATLINERS. A group of medical students stop each others hearts in a controlled experiment hoping to catch a glimpse of the afterlife, but they get more than they bargained far when the world of the living and the world of the afterlife begin to coincide.
I think it still would be a fresh premise and so long as Hollywood didnt make it into a cgi crap fest, I believe it would have alot of potential. Always spooked me when I was a kid, and i've never forgot about it when mentioning sci fi/horror/thriller movies from the late 80's early 90's.

It was a good film. But I fear in this age of a 'bubble-wrapped' lifestyle that showing a film encouraging someone to deliberately pause their life, you just know some dips
t IS going to try it dont you?
If that happens then it will be blamed for all the problems in the world, etc. etc.
The film I liked in the same afterlife theme was Brainstorm, where they create a method of recording human thoughts.
Yeah there is that fear as well. With the whole choking game too. Havent seen Brainstorm, have to give it a watch
