Happy to be called out as 'Mutton' on this, but every week I take my son for golf lessons at a local golf/tennis club on a Sunday morning and spend the hour in the clubhouse bar with a coffee/newspaper. And, every week, a whole parade of awful people insist on coming in (and going out) and leaving the door open behind them letting the cold air in behind them, then I, or some other unlucky person, has to get up and close the door.

For some reason this simple act of rudeness (or thoughtlessness) by these people really boil my pi** - I mean WTF can't these idiots have the decency and courtesy to think of others and just close the door behind them??

It isn't just to be clear a thing about 'doors' - it's all the cold air and discomfort this act causes, and I'm finding myself increasingly frustrated by this.

Am in on the extreme here, or do other PHers empathise/agree with me on this?

(I should add I don't just sit next to the door, this cold air blows around the entire bar)

Well I could say something like "It's jolly unsporting of these chaps to leave the door open and not very chipper in my opinion" but the phrase 'it boils my pi**" is actually far more reflective about my mood about this. Apologies if that phrase offends... frown
