What do you care about? I mean REALLY care about?

I can’t be the only one that is now totally alienated by so much in life and just don’t care about what I see going on in the world.

I’ve stopped watching the news because it’s just so depressing, I have no power to do anything about trump and his ideas and the thought of listening to someone bleat on about it just feels me with dread.

Same with all the migration and wars in the world, I know they’re awful but I really just don’t care, I feel sorry for those people but I just think oh well. The thought of the world being destroyed in a nuclear war doesn’t bother me in the slightest, I would not want to survive that.

I see other people getting so riled up about everting like transgender and I just think well I just want people to be happy and have some rights.

I just don’t care about my career, I had a good job I enjoyed and moved into a new one for “progression” but just cannot get motivated or care about what other people seem to worry about, it’s all totally made up. Customer says they need a quote by a certain date but I just do not care, so I just think il go back to the old one, a step backward on the ladder but does it actually matter?

I care about my family and things closer to home but I just feel that life is so draining, all I want from life is to live mine comfortably and in my own little bubble.

How do people cope with being so outraged by everything?

I'm not long for this planet but am deeply concerned for my son and what he's going to have to deal with. And that I guess is what I really care about.

It’s makes me wonder though if anything is actually worse than it was? There’s always war and genocide going on, massive migration, crazy world leaders but since the invention of the internet and 24 hour news it’s shoved down our throats more and there’s a news channel for whatever your political views are

I’ve noticed last time and now how hysterical the BBC get over anything trump does, weather or not it’s got any remote baring on the UK.


Another one with social media and dash cams, people film everting that’s happened to them and put it online, minor road rage that is totally forgotten about within 5 mins is all over the internet for people to watch and comment on for years to come

The environment bothers me, but the world refuses to take the hard decisions, instead forcing us to consume garbage that will make no difference while avoiding the basic obvious answers.

The damage we do to plants and animals, really linked to the above, but I take solace that nature always finds a way and will happily wipe us out eventually and move on, hopefully leaving other creatures to thrive.

I do believe we’re on a one way road to extinction, global warming is natural and humans are accelerating it that’s for sure but the end of the human race will happen just like the dinosaurs, there’s always tv programs mapping the history of the planet and it always ends with something being wiped out by a ice age, we just don’t know when

I’ve also lost the point of reducing plastic waste, I went to Mallorca the week before last, and despite them having a single sue plastic ban, still had plastic straws, free plastic bags, plastic coffee cup lids, plastic bottles etc, I even picked up 2 boxes of cotton buds with plastic stalks.
