Aspirational ownership

So I’m trying to set a long term goal, of owning a big lambo. Realistically this is a goal that will take a few years further saving, with my thoughts on an Aventador, simply because I feel the increased oversight of Audi would make it a bit more reliable (all relative I know). Realistically I would be looking at one of the early reasonable mileage examples. (So I appreciate the niggles on those early cars)

First of all, am I mad? Is this a wise choice to aspire too or should I be considering something a bit more sensible like a Hurracan?

I have always maintained my own vehicles, however by noticing a lack of posts around that topic in the forum is this something owners do? Or is the car simply too exotic to attempt?

Anyway, I’d like to hear what you all think, so support me, ridicule me or change my mind, make alternative suggestions ...... I’m all ears.
