Went to Manchester Lambo and had good chat there - general view was that older Aventadors don't come through the dealer network because they have to do all the work needed to get to a fully manufacturer-approved level and can then offer the warranty, and so you're generally looking at £200k upwards for one.

So does this mean that the older ones at about £150k ish actually need loads doing to them, or is this dealer-speak? I appreciate it'll sell have the running costs of a £250-300k car, but find it harder to believe that once out of the main dealer network they will fall apart at the slightest provocation.....

thoughts/experiences welcomed, from whatever side of the discussion.....

ok thanks. Sounds like they are more expensive than I'm going to want to pay for one with a full warranty, at present, and that the bottom end could get overly costly to maintain.....
