Johnny Dumfries

So very sad to hear Johnny Dumfries has passed way aged 62 after a short illness. I met Johnny back in 1986 after a testing session in his Lotus F1 car one late afternoon at Donington after he got out the car and removed his helmet and ear plugs and gave me plenty of time for a chat, he signed the back of my business card which I still have. Winning Le Mans in 1988 was a fantastic achievement, , despite his aristocracy he was completely down to earth and loved motorsport.
