987 odd window behaviour

First issue with my poverty pork.
On occasion (and predictably should the alarm be triggered), the drivers windows drops by an inch then raises again repeatedly.
The only way to stop it is to start the car.
Usually, you can then stop the engine and lock the car as normal without a repeat.
Any idea what's going on?
It mostly behaves itself when getting in/out, dropping once as you'd expect.
