Came back home from offshore and cranked the car over for a few minutes idle - no problems.Next day fired it up to EFI warning and constant chiming alarm, rang the dealer who says no need for worrying if its been laid up a while, something about a pod battery
running down?I have done as he suggested and put a few miles on but can't clear the fault.Any one else had this? - car is due its service soon anyway so hopefully will get sorted along with the bloody speedo
which is allover the shop at 90 ish and goes ballistic when the car is booted. It packed in totally the other day and as the EFI warning overrides the data pages I have no idea if the digi read out was indicating or not.Stopped for fuel and it started to work again.
