Prescott Hill Climb Sunday Service 02/04

Join us for a day of live action at Prescott Hill Climb in Gloucestershire

Update: Time on the hill has sold out, but there's plenty of space for spectators!

PH might be turning 25 this year, but we’re not even close to Prescott Hill Climb, which will be celebrating its 85th anniversary this year. In fact, hillclimbing is one of the oldest motorsport disciplines in the world, dating back to the 19th century. Accordingly, we’re super excited to be hosting a Sunday Service at Prescott’s Car Club Day this year on Sunday 2 April, with space for 60 PH members' cars to take to the hill, and hundreds more to come along and spectate.

This is a non-competitive event, to give amateurs and experienced racers alike a rare opportunity to get a taste of hillclimbing on the 1,127-yard sprint skyward. Just £55 will get you four runs up the hill, with dedicated parking in the PistonHeads paddock area. Cars must be road-legal and road-registered, and drivers must have a full UK licence. You’ll also need a Motorsport UK RS Clubman licence, which you can get for free here.

If you’re keen to take on the hill, then book your place here, selecting ‘PistonHeads Hill Runs’ (this includes your admission to the event too). If you just want to come along to spectate and enjoy a great day out, early bird general admission is £12 here or £15 on the day. And as always once you’ve done all of that, add your name to the PH list here.

See you there!

When: Sunday April 2, 0900h-1700h
Where: Prescott Speed Hill Climb, Gotherington, Cheltenham, GL52 9RD
Cost: General admission £12 in advance or £15 on the gate, under 16s go free
Spaces: 1,000 general admission, 60 on the hill
Tickets: Book your place here

Also, all passengers must be seated in accordance with the RTA (so if you have children they must be in correct car seats etc.)
Interesting, does this mean my 6 year old can come up the hill?

It was a great day out, both driving up the hill and putting faces to authors of readers cars threads.

Good half day out (only got there at lunch). Well organised and good fun to watch people give it a go. Nice to see a PH stand and some jumpers about the place too (I suggest this last time!).

I took a lot of photos, 800 or so. I've ditched a lot, as I'm crap, the rest are in the link below. Shot in RAW, happy to pass them along if you want. Man maths dictates the issue is with my old gear, not me!

MDifficult, there are 3 blurry ones of you going past me included. I've left the following photos off, but happy to add them if you are, or can email them. They're nothing special, just sore wounds and all that hehe (and a video of the removal eek)

Big thanks to the 4 or so lads who helped bump start my 2002 too! Made it home without stalling it.

I noticed the 2002 coming in - it looked good. Thanks for getting photos of my MR2 Roadster.
