Hi all
I own an imported Hiace Granvia which has been converted to a camper.
I’ve just had my insurance renewal through and it’s gone up by 55% eek

As it’s an import, I understand many of the usual on line insurance companies are not interested in quoting.

Who are people using to insure imports these days?
Current insurer is Flux

Thanks

I use Keith Michaels on my JDM import. Found them to be very 'no-nonsense', not encountered anything daft like admin charges for minor changes and not seen any increases for declared modifications.

I'm with Keith Michaels too best I could get but my import was up 33% this year and I had to take my partner off to get it down. I used to be sanguine about insurance but now they have used up my patience, it's an utter scam and I don't see why I should be covering morons who buy stty stealable Eurocrap.

Greenlight and A-plan (now howdens) were also able to quote but double & triple check the latter as sometimes they can miss stuff.

I'm with Sterling for my jap import mk5 gti which is also modified. They were far and away cheaper than everyone else although I didn't get a quote from Keith Michaels as they didn't get back to me.

Thank you everyone.
Sorted now
After some to and fro with Flux I managed to get the price down. My wife still has a disputed claim on her own insurance, hence the big jump.
I have removed her from the policy and that brought the premium right down.
Thanks for your input
