I'm being loaned this for three months. I know it's a Nissan, but what model/variant?

Thanks.

Think it's an Elgrand?

Yes, I thought it might be an Elgrand, but it looks next size down? As per Scrump's suggestion.

I didn't get the Serena after all, I was given a Toyota Isis instead. 1.8 petrol with an awful CVT that seems to halve what little power it has. Comfy though.

I still like how Toyota have different crests for different models. I don't believe this for a second but it's a nice story that fits the badges (also apparently the century is the queen) ;

I don't know if it's still the fashion but they had dealer networks that had a certain theme or vibe, sport/luxury/cute etc. Cars then get re-badged and specced for said dealer network. They can stretch one car to so many derivatives. I think sometimes they also have distinct brand/marques that have a focus, such as Mazda/Anfini/Eunos.

The badge jobs on Kei cars and the endless derivatives is a rabbit hole, some hilarious and long winded car names. There is big fanbase for women focused and marketed products, retro styled cars and even cars focused to pet owners. I watched a video of the Renault Kangoo owners club which was a huge eye opener on the car scene in Japan. I bet there is money to be had in the car specific accessories and mods at the meetups. Naturally Renault themselves attend with the order books in hand, having a captive audience of interested and willing customers. Probably not a bad way to do business if you have the opportunity.

The Isis was swapped for a Camry, then I finished up with a Solio.
