600 vs 1000 in the corners...?

Just wondering - has anybody here ridden one of the latest 600' and 1000's, 2005 / 2006? The obvious difference is power but I wondered how different they are in the corners both on the road and track? They say my K6 GSXR 1000 feels and behaves like a 600 in the corners but having recently sat on a Triumph 675 and realised it could probably float away, I'm not sure how true this is? For me, most of the fun is in the corners though I do enjoy a straight line blast!
