MK2 Leon fr, what to do to keep it healthy?
Discussion
Hello all, i'm afraid im not much of a pistonhead but i do like to take care of my cars. My current runabout is a 57 plate seat leon fr, 2L TFSI and is a DSG. It's done just under 80k miles which i believe is fairly good for its age. It hasnt had a belt or water pump change yet, though the manual states every 80k so its probably due. It's just had its mot and passed with flying colours, and i spent a few hundred quid getting the gearbox oil and filter changed.
My question is, what else should i do to it? Is the cambelt and water pump a priority? I do like to put my foot down sometimes and i like my corners, are there any other items that will probably be detrimental to the ride by now? It is very crashy and hard on bumps but i assumed that was just this particular spec.
Appreciate any advice
