After years and years of wanting one (but not being able to justify it as I had a perfectly servicable beige Polo (22 years old!) which has now been consigned to the scrapyard in the sky), I have finally bought a mini!!
Its a red 1991 Mini Cooper and I'm getting it on Friday. So if you see me zooming round, wave hello!

Thank you all for making me so welcome...I spent the whole weekend zooming around. 
I can't believe what fun it is to drive although I must admit HGV's gave me a fright.
I've already been given a list of things that need attention so my mechanical skills are about to improve hugely!
