Flyer from the first time I saw them, manchester international, place was nearly empty, Chris Cornell swung on the lighting rig and kicked the ceiling, bringing the ceiling tiles down on everyone's heads, we looked like earthquake survivors
saw them again at international 2, but I've not seen them for 20 years, going to the apollo

A lot of "hometown" fans round 'ere.... I even used to go abroad to see bands if that was the only option!

I've been known to travel if I have to, but I do often have work to go to the next day, and I get up early(ish). I go to way, way more gigs than I can have days off work...

plus almost everyone plays manchester.. smile

Indeed. It's pap. Cash-in on reforming bands trend before the bubble pops. Just like Alice In Chains unfortunately.

ETA - I'd still love to see them though!

It really isn't. Listen to it more - it's a real grower.

Mudhoney's latest offerings, however, are truly limp. I don't think they've committed anything worthwhile to record since My Brother... and that was a bit hit n' miss.
