Drove our AMG to Affalterbach to meet the AMG CEO. Had an access all areas full factory tour, and met the engineer who built our engine. AMG was the best factory visit I've ever experienced, and a day I'll never forget as long as I live. Enjoy the drive there & back on the deristricted autobahns too. Just do it, as soon as you can.

Yep - I did it last year, during the summer; they even flew the Union Jack just for us :-)
Interesting tour watching the engines being assembled - V8's plus of course the V12's for Pagani.

Thanks Guys, so basically I get in touch, tell them when I would like to go, then await their reply, or is there a protocol to follow?

Yes - there's an email link on the AMG website, if you let them know the chassis number they will be able to verify that you're an AMG owner, and the tour & hospitality is all free.

Was just going to say there is a private lounge on the Merc website for AMG owners.

Only access with your AMG chassis number cool

I joined a little while back and received a personal invite to the factory, along with a couple of special stickers for the car biggrin

Here's the link to join.

@Lee c63, do you have the route by any chance?

Out of loyalty to PH I haven't joined the MBClub wink

My friend and I are planning to go with my C63 and his CLA45 (when he picks it up in July). Can't wait to drive at full chatter on those autobahns....

Hi Mike, you should be able to read THIS THREAD even as a guest. Most, if not all, details are on there.

Don't be too concerned about the loyalty thing, many in here are on several other brand related boards. smile
