Seems a strange case.

Can anyone work out what he is accused of? Adding categories that he didn’t have?

Is this equivalent to being a child rapist now? I loose track of which crimes are unforgivable.

One of the drawbacks of being in the public eye eventually someone will check you out. Nice bloke but you can imagine how it all happened quite easily.
Looks like he will be on the bus to work which will be an amusing new tv special.

Not really. Its a straightforward process to obtain any additional licence categories. Even young F1 drivers have to pass their driivng test before theh are allowed on the road. Did he do this years ago for his first job and didnt bother with if since?

Not the first time something like this has happened with a tv person, IIRC the original motorcycle rider from Watchdog didn't have a driving licence

Dan Penteado - Jailed for £24,000 benefit fraud -

"His solicitor Terrence Scanlan told the court he committed the fraud from 2008 to 2012 because he was on a short-term contract with the BBC and made the "very poor judgment not to interrupt the flow of housing benefit".

The council brought the prosecution after a member of staff dealing with a benefits claim recognised the TV personality from a newspaper article."

He is accused of possession of a document 'so closely resembling a licence that resembled an Irish driving licence as to be calculated to deceive' between December 4, 2017 and May 15.
How odd.

I like Guy...i like his 'man of the people' persona which i think it utterly real even in a TV context......

But i'll guess this goes out of the window when he gets Mr Loophole to save his ass like Beckham and the rest...

One rule for them...etc etc..

He doesn't, unless he's off to the USA.

He can't get points for any of this.

It's quite a serious offence really, if proven I'd have thought a suspended prison sentence and/or community service would be on the cards.

All very strange, you'd have thought he would have time in his schedule to just do a course to get the technical stuff right, and pass the test. He has plead not guilty so there might be something we are missing.

I hope this is tongue in cheek!

With any luck this will bring him down a peg or two.

Does he need bringing down a peg or two ?

Always found him very down to earth and quite humble.

In the same way that Theresa May says she's all behind Brexit. Seriously his "humilty" is barely believable when pretty much everything he does is all about him and what next wonderful thing he is going to do.

He’s a truck mechanic isn’t he?

Maybe he’s never had a HGV licence and just came up with some silly idea to get a fake one?
