I'm sure women couldn't give a toss what the people of PH think. Personally I think some look great and others perhaps a bit much, but its entirely up to them
I don't care if they don't care that I don't like their tats, so now that's out the way let's just carry on with the poll and opinions to see what the general thoughts are on here about the subject of what our opinions are and not a discussion about their opinion of us about our opinions.
I don't have any tattoos or any piercings. I'm a smartly dressed, strait-laced looking chap. Despite this, I found myself inexplicably attracted to heavily tattooed and pierced emo/goth type girls.
Used to enjoy reading 'Bizarre' magazine as it usually contained tattooed young ladies in PVC underwear pouring low grade motor oil all over each other.
In my early 20's, it was always a challenge for a chap like me to attract a tattooed goth rock chick, as I didn't like rock music, didn't have long hair, and didn't own a collection of long black leather trenchcoats and Doc Marten boots. I was a house music DJ, so pretty much the opposite end of the spectrum.
I got there in the end though. Met a nice girl who was petite, gothic, tattooed, pierced, dressed in weird stuff like a black tutu and black knee length lace up boots, and listened to bands I had never heard of. We must have looked like quite the odd couple on a night out or in a restaurant. My parents were mortified. She was very naughty.
It didn't last. Couple of years we started to fall out over things. She gravitated back to her rock mates, clinical depression, painting her nails black, and hating her parents.
Was fun while it lasted.
I have no issues with tattoos on anyone. Each to their own.

On a philosophical note - i think the vast majority DO "give a toss" what others think about them. The amount of "toss given" may vary, and possibly there are some total sociopaths who genuinely don't give a toss but IMHO most people care what other people think about them and behave in a way that attracts positive vibes. It's why most people shower/brush their hair/wear clean clothes and generally try not to look like a homeless wretch.I voted "depends" by the way. Subtle tattoos can look hot. Full sleeves look awful.
Personally don't like them, I think they look council especially as a woman gets older. I think it is no coincidence that a lot of famous women are secretly getting them removed as they start to hit 40.

But on the other hand I love that look too, but not sure I could deal with it outside of the bedroom.Personally I think that the best a person can hope for with a tattoo is that it doesn't make them look worse. Unfortunately in many cases it does.
I've never looked at a hot woman and thought "she'd look better covered in tattoos". Although plenty of women were hot before they got their tattoos, and are still hot, so it's not all bad. I'm sure they'll look terrible in 10 years though.
And I'm sure people will say that these women don't care what I and others think. Unfortunately that's clearly not true, unless it's pure coincidence that they happened to get their tattoos when it became a very popular thing to do.
My favourite thing though, is the flimsy justifications that literally every person comes up with for the tattoo. Nobody says "I just wanted to look cool". Instead, it's to signify some incredibly deep meaning that's close to your heart which must be remembered everyday, by getting a picture on your body that you wouldn't even hang on your wall.
I voted yes.

All depends on the inking, some can look dreadful, some can look brilliant.
I have a friend and former colleague who is an IT Helpdesk manager for a large corporation. With her smart business suit on you would never guess what lies beneath. Her Instagram shows her to be heavily inked, some of them are awesome pieces or work, some are dreadful.
I dare say those ladies who have them couldn't give a flying one what the average PH-er thinks, however.
Amusingly I used to date a primary school teacher who had a couple of small-ish tattoos, including the dreaded 'arse antlers' as Viz billed them. Nowadays they look incredibly dated and dare I say rather chavvy when peeking out above the top of the ubiquitous Juicy Couture jogging bottoms. They were a fashion for a short time along with showing your thong above your jeans waistband, something that thankfully died out rather quickly. All I could think about when giving her one from behind was "Jeez, arse antlers!"
Also known as 'der Schlampenstempel' in German!
