May be worth asking first if the flaking is a problem.
My S1 has quite a bit and I had pencilled in new lamps, but 2 years now and I haven't even been given an advisory.
I think the flaking is only an issue if it affects the beam - so it has to be quite a lot, really.
Another reason to ask is that removing the old headlamps will mean you MUST re-align the new ones properly, and if you do not do this correctly or yourself, it will fail the MOT anyhow ( which you may have passed if you left all alone!!! ) and cost you extra money.

True. I got an advisory last year, "flaking not affecting beam pattern", or somesuch and it hasn't really got much worse so could still be OK.
Might drop by the garage on Sat and see what the tester thinks. Bring back the good old days of no pass no fee MOTs.

p.s. I've bought stuff from Eliseparts and I agree good service, but as a responsible consumer I feel the need to shop around a bit before parting with the readies.
