S4 4.2 top speed (without limiter?)

Title pretty much gives this question away - anybody know what the manual B6 shape S4 4.2 V8 will do once the limiter is removed?

I'm considering taking it on a VMax day at bruntingthorpe to release the fury, so to speak, and wondering if it's worth it or will I not get much past 155 ?

I'd guess at 10mph or so over the limiter speed.

Yeah I don't imagine it will be a huge amount, but some runs at 165 ish (assuming I can get there by the beam) will be well worth a set of brakes

Even with the limiter I believe they will hit 160/165. However, I am not sure they would go that much quicker without it.

I'd really like to take mine to vmax too but can't really afford it right now so I'd be interested in the results if you do go.

I recall a near brand new M5 (E60) with it's 155 limiter got 160-something through the timing beams

I would guess about 165 at VMAX. I expect it would do more but not in the distance at Bruntingthorpe.
