New Headlight Brackets

I've seen some lower and more forward headlight brackets on the latest Sevens. Are all the brackets like this now - or is this an option?

I like the original 'bug-eyed' ones myself, and I am wondering if a new Seven has to have these lower brackets?

Recent thread on Blatchat about them. They only fit the later metric chassis but it appears that the original lugs on the chassis are still there albeit with a different nosecone that has no cut out for the old style brackets to pass through.
